Camp thank you letter

Task description: You were meant to write a letter to someone that used there free time to come to camp.

                                                                                                                                                                                                       Dear Mr Pete,

I want to thank you for taking your time to hang out with Glen Taylor and supporting the staff members and team tui students. I would like to say thank you for using your free time to come to Camp Bentzon and help with everything. You have a part in a Memory that will last as long as my last breath.

You always made my week much better at camp. You were so kind because you were always willing to help. It was a fun and new experience being away from my parents. You even saved two students that were trapped in the cabins and saved them with your handy dandy tool kit! You made my friends and I die of laughter with your funny and talented impressions.

My favourite highlight would probably be orienting because we worked as a team finding each clue. As we explored Lesley made me laugh because of the amount of times she slipped going down the steep mountains.

I think I could’ve made more friends over the week. My goal is to be a role model for my younger pairs and be an inspiration in the future. I want to inspire students that no matter how old you are you can still succeed in your dreams. I want to make a great impact on the world and show how capable I am. My beliefs are to always respect everyone and be a gentlemen to ALL women.

Your Honoured Student,

Spencer

My Recount

Task Description: This week task was to write a recount on a special event. I decided to write the time I went down to whakatane for my rugby comp. Hope you enjoy reading my hardworking recount.

Competition Whakatane

During the last week of term three my family and I went to Whakatane for my ARL (Auckland Rugby League) Competition.

The three hour drive was so long and boring I fell asleep snoring until we got to our destination. I was so excited it felt like a famous VIP sprinting into a new flashy marae. I acknowledge the men and women that were in the picture frames, even though it was not my marae I still respected the people proudly with mana.  Food was provided for everyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner we had lasagna, BBQ, Pizza and Chips!

On the first day of the competition I was pumped full of adrenaline, I could say the same thing for my teammate/friends. Knowing that we were versus one of the best teams right now in the MNZL (Maori New Zealand League) my teammates lost hope. Our first being nervous and being afraid to lose we still tried our best and lost by a little bit. The next games were intense thinking if we were going to lose but we tried with great power and will to stride forward.
